What a great time of the year. Winter is cozy, but summer is a time for outdoor fun. Several years ago, I made a trip over the North Cascades Highway and the scenery was stunning. Planning on that for this summer and making the big loop back across Chinook Pass. Probably make a stop at Whistling Jacks for some delicious grub as the last stop before heading home to Buckley. On another personal road trip note, we will also head off to Ennis Montana for a great visit with family and a little more western culture. Once again, the scenery between here and there is altogether spectacular.

On a local note here might be a few ideas:

Don’t forget about their weekend Puyallup Farmers Market which offers up a great selection of local produce and vendors.

Sumner Rhubarb Days in downtown Sumner July 27th and 28th offering up music, food and lots of crafty vendors for this annual event.

Bonney Lake will again have Taste at Tapps held at Allan Yorke Park on Saturday, July 27th. Great fun and delicious food.

Enumclaw will be hosting several fun events including The Stars and Stripes Celebration on July 4th.

The King County Fair will be operating July 18th through July 24th and offering up a miniature version of The Puyallup.

Let’s not forget about the Enumclaw Rotary Street Fair on Friday, July 26th from 10:00 AM through 9:00 PM

Looks like we will be having another great summer and wish you fun times with family and friends.
